iDatalink vs Fortin bypass modules

Good Day All... I am an up and coming installer (small time freelancer) and wanted to get some feedback from the experienced ones amongst you all about which modules & remote start brands you prefer to use (based on cost, ease of use & reliability) btw the Fortin Evo-All & iDatalink ADS-ALCA & Blade-AL I also would appreciate feedback comparing Compustar remote starter/alarm products to Audiovox remote starters. (both their 1-way, 2-way & RF kits). Lastly, I have confirmed with Fortin support that the W2W outputs are active even in Data mode. Is this the same for the ADS-ALCA? I noticed in the manual, it has an option to chose Data mode OR Hardwire mode. Thanks in advance...

I have used most every product out there. The ADS and Fortin modules are both great. Never any issues with company. The Fortin modules do offer a couple of benefits. First they have the ability to be an alarm as well. They also come pre loaded with most firmware and may not need to be updated. I do recommend always updating if you have the option. All modules will work w2w and in data mode most will output things like Tach and brake on the wires even in data mode. My go to line is CrimeStopper. It has been bullet proof. Generally has plenty of range for most of my customers. It works in D2d with both ADS and Fortin.

I really appreciate your insight and feedback. So just for confirmation, if I set the iDatalink AL-CA to data mode, the w2w connections are still active and can be used? Correct?
