Installing a 5706 with remote start using pljx to bypass passlock2. Starts up using key but not remote starting.

The PLJX is not my favorite bypass module for a couple of reasons but...

Your truck has the Passlock2 immobilizer system, so you would follow the PASSLOCK 2 & VATS CONNECTION diagram

in the install guide.  Unfortunately that diagram shows connections for both systems, so you must exclude those connections
that are used with the VATS system.

A couple of important things to mention :

I don't believe the Keysense wire is needed for your install.
Do not connect the PLJX's Brown wire to the R/S's GWR ( 5706 Dark Blue (-) 200mA Status Output ) wire until programming is
successfully completed.
The PLJX must get it's "Chassis Ground" connection from the Passlock2 Ground Reference wire.
Verify that your have the correct Yellow Passlock2 Resistance wire with a DMM.
Make sure the PLJX jumper is in the B position.
I would recommend that all the Passlock2 connections be properly soldered.

Of course, all the above assumes that the R/S is connected properly to the truck's ignition wires and programmed correctly.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks for the reply kreg357. I'm pretty sure that I have all the connections. I did a search but all I found was a pictorial for one you did with the Avital on a Silverado.

Went back and looked over my wiring connections. Closer look revealed that I did not have all of my wires connected where they should have been.
