I'm installing light rings in my car's wheels. I don't want to install a remote or the on/off switch that comes with the kit. I want the lights to come on when the parking break is engaged. I know that I need some type of switch that opens the power circuit once the parking brack switch is engaged (kind of like an in-dash DVD player only works when the parking break is engaged so your not distracted while driving), but for the life of me I cannot figure out the specific switch. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is a switch directly at the emergency brake, whether it is located on the floor or the center hump, and you could tap into that, or, depending on your vehicle and your capabilities, you could access the BRAKE light in the dash. 1 wire to a N.O. relay out to your light rings sounds like what I think you're asking about.
