Does anyone know the wiring scheme for the amplifier module that powers the speakers in a 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I think its the same module that's in navigators for 2007 and u. What I want to do is use it as a preamp to feed a stronger amplifier that will power the upgraded door speakers. I know where the amp is. I want to tap into it there instead of routing speaker wires to each door, tap into preexisting wire there to feed new amp, and then have to go back to doors to feed speakers. Or if someone has a better idea.

I didn't know this was a 10 channel amp. I thought the front door tweeters were tapped into front door 6x8's. I had this factory amplifier replaced already when I first purchased the vehicle in 2015. for some reason all speakers stopped playing except the center channel. so I thought it was separate for the factory amp.

I can confirm that the tweeter wires ARE at the amplifier and separate from the woofer wires.

do u think its feasible to use this factory amp basically as a preamp. or can I tap into the input side of it and remove it entirely. the reason for all this is to reduce or eliminate the safety feature the system has that lowers the volume level when your playing it very loud. so speakers and/or amp is not damaged.

possible yes. but that depends on if the feature is being implemented at the amp level or the radio level. i BELIEVE the feature would be implemented in the radio itself.. meaning the amp is not the issue. it would require replacing the radio.

I appreciate tonanzith for the wiring configuration for my 2015 Navigator. I pulled the dash apart today and pulled out all the 6x8 speakers and the center channel array. While this is probably second nature for most I'm having a difficult time understanding the color codes and pin numbers. Is it possible to list each speaker on its own line with the color code and pin number.
I think I've identified the connectors. all 3 are red tipped. 1 is a 24pin, a 20 pin, and a 14 pin. The only ones I need identified are the 4 door 6x8's. the front door tweeters. the center channel. and the rear pillar tweeters. not worried about the woofer or power or anything else. thanks for any assistance in this matter
