hi guys new to the forum but have been using the resources for many many years. I currently have a 2007 chevy silverado that is the new body style aka 2007-2013. I have installed an auto page rf-425 in my 2005 chevy colorado i had previously but it didn't have remote start. My question here is if someone has a vehicle specific wiring diagram and can tell me some info on the 1701g bypass module I've been reading about. The way i understand it you can buy a non-remote start alarm and use this bypass module to activate the factory remote start through the aftermarket alarm? can someone explain how this works to me? Im an apprentice electrician and have experience wiring stereo systems, nitrous systems, and like i said the one alarm on the colorado. just trying to get a better understanding of what will work and not work and exactly how to do it because a regular alarm is significantly cheaper without the remote start option so i don't wanna waste money. The end goal is a 2-way paging alarm that will retain my remote start feature i have from the factory and will help prevent my stereo system or wheels from being stolen off of my truck. thanks in advance guys

This is a T-harness installation
Click the link for the main product, Click accessories for remotes and Programmer to turn on the alarm features of the system.

Here is a shock sensor for you and in the install manual at the bottom it will show you how to wire it into the system.
