Hello,
I bought the alpine PXA-H800 sound processor, i am going to connect it with 2 sets of Boston acoustic PRO60SE front and back.
I am going to use the 4.2 configuration on the processor. so each channel is going to control 1 speaker (mid or tweeter)
The big question is if i should use the crossovers that come with the speakers or connect the speakers straight to the amp and let the processor and amplifier to control the frequencies. (4 channels amplifier just for the front set, 2 tweeters 2 mids)the amplifier has low/high selector on each channel - Alpine PDX-V9.

The PXA-H800 is a powerful processor with very nice EQ and Dolby surround capabilities. Yes, it can also be used as a crossover. Do you have the proper test equipment to determine the correct Xover and slope for your components? If so, then sure go for it. If not, then use the passives that came with the system and use the PXA for other purposes.
