I am going to install a Viper 4105v in a 2000 Toyota Tundra...
My questions for the group is that this has some sort of factory remote start/alarm system... It is a TDS system I think it resembles a Audiovox...This remote start I need to be in just about arms reach of the truck for the thing to remote start
Is there going to be any issues if I just take out the brain box and rewire the Viper?
Will I need a relay pack for door system?
I dont think I will need a transponder...
Is anyone familiar with these crappy RS in these vehicles?

Sorry can't help you with the current TDS / Audiovox R/S system. Never came across a Tundra with one installed.
The good news is the 2000 - 2003 Tundra's did not have a transponder chipped ignition key, so no worries there.
More good news, the power door lock system works directly with the Vipers (-) lock outputs, so no relays needed.
The truck has both (+) and (-) Parking Light wires, so use which ever is easiest for you. There are 2 IGN's, one
Starter and one ACC wire, so the Viper can directly handle them with no issues / programming. If the truck has
the factory alarm system, set the Viper to Double Unlock Pulse Output and connect the Viper Unlock to this wire :
Factory Alarm Disarm     blue/black (driver door key cylinder) double (-)     @ driver kick, door harness
Actually, it's a fairly simple truck to do, just check to verify quality connections from the previous install if
you plan to re-use the wires.
Soldering is fun!

I am not sure if the TDS is factory or not... It does have shock sensor and I cant stand that the doors lock on ignition...
sounds like it shouldnt be too hard... I just need to dig in...
stay tuned for complaints and issues
May be a while before I actually get to start the install
