Installed a pioneer double din with an Axxess GMOS-04 for trucks with Onstar and Bose. After plugging everything up, turned the key to accessory and started setting clock/settings on radio. Once everything was set, I then started the truck to move it, and stuff hit the fan. Gauges started acting stupid, battery light, ABS light and airbag light come on, Windows and door locks stopped working, radio won't come on. I checked every fuse I could locate, in the underhood and driver side panels.
I unhooked the battery and let it set for 20 minutes, based on a reply on a forum, but same results.
What broke and why and how much will GM charge to replace?
Factory radio yields same results also.

Just in case anyone encounters this rare issue, here is what I found this morning.
I installed a remote start a few months back in this vehicle. While installing the steering wheel remote module, I must have pulled the data wire that connects the bypass module to the OBD2 port. This wire found its way between the "C" clip for the bottom 7MM screw for the knee panel. When I tightened the screw, it was crushing the wire in the clip, and grounding the data wire to bare metal.
All is well now, and even though I've been installing for over 15 years, I learned another valuable lesson. Installing at 930 PM in the dark, probably wasn't the best idea, even if this was a simple install.

Glad you figured it out...
How does the system sound? When you able to use the speakers wires from the Axxess harness or did you have to go to the factory Bose amp to grab them?

System sounded pretty good. Everything was connected through the wiring harness.
