Hi i need ask it cause i don't get it why its necessary to have a TPMS wire to be connected to the ads al ca module when a remote starter will be installed on this year and model ? what it does when have a remote start installed? I'm follow the install type 6 on the idatalink , can you guys help me out here please thanks a lot

This is for Canadian built vehicles only. I BELIEVE this is do to a potential error in the method idatalink uses to communicate with the system which helps avoid throwing a code in the vehicle which will result in needing to have the code cleared to turn off the tpms light. In effect it would throw a code every time you remote start. Very annoying to say the least. If Canadian built then wire is the diagram shown which disables tpms monitoring during remote start avoiding potential codes.

yes its a Canadian vehicle and i do have a TPMS code now after the remote starter have been installed ,any idea how to fix it ?or should i have the TPMS wires put back together thanks
