ok I have a compustar cm7000AS brain
I installed it about a year ago, and now have a little issue
the whole think works but the trunk release stopped working, so I am curious how I can test this.
I am using a trunk popper not a factory one.
If I hold button 3 on the remote it use to unlock the doors and pop the trunk but now it just unarms and unlocks the doors.
I can not remember if I put a relay but the wire I used is the violet/white, I used a volt meter and put he positive lead at the wire and negative to the chasis and there is no output on the wire. I can not remember if I put a relay, can anyone help me out it is a 67 Camaro, and I don't wanna take the whole dash, cluster out as the brain is buried

You should use a relay as (-250ma_ is for trigger loads to operate a relay.
