Did you use data mode or is it hardwired to the remote start? If you used data you can try hard wiring to see if it works that way. Also verify the following.
  • IMPORTANT
  • Ground When Running from Remote Starter must be provided BEFORE Ignition. Failure to comply may result in immobilizer bypass malfunction during remote start
  • II If Ground When Running from Remote Starter CAN’T be provided BEFORE Ignition, use a separate TB-HA for immobilizer bypass ONLY
  • III - DO NOT program unlock before start on the Remote Starter. - DO NOT change Remote Starter OEM alarm control default settings. Failure to comply may result in product malfunction.

Upon further research this is a OEM function that disables the factory remote system while the engine is running. Which the module is using data to operate them. Read here: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=120394 Will need to use the internal door lock wire to unlock while running from the alarm. As long as the manual power door lock switch works while the engine is running.

First if you have the 1-button remote then the trunk release is not a available option.
But if you don't have the 1-button remote there is a power hatch button in the vehicle if it tests (-) then You can use the H1/7 RED / White wire. You will need to use a relay with H1/7 to 85, constant (+)12v to 86, 87 and 30 to hatch wires.      As for the auto lights I assume you mean daytime headlights which I'm not sure of on that vehicle. I would think that the parking light wire needs to be isolated from the switch when remote started.
  • Trunk Release
  • BROWN and WHITE (Power Tail gate) Requires #775 Relay, See NOTE #2 GREEN 21-PIN PLUG, PINS 18 and 6 @ DASH FUSE BOX
  • NOTE #2; The Power tailgat opens when these (2) wires are shorted together, requires a relay to do so.

No need to hardwire locks. The fl-can has a +start input (BLACK/ white). I'll bet you didn't connect that? This is what tells the fl-can to switch over to door lock data from keyless data.

From above[Quote=Chris Luongo] I've done 2007-2009 MDX but not a 2010. I'd imagine they're the same, though.
Not sure what you mean by "all the alarm functions." If you install the Viper unit, it should work just like it would in any other car....pressing the Lock button would lock the doors, arm the aftermarket alarm, and if installed correctly with the correct module, should arm the factory alarm too.........and of course pressing Unlock would disarm both alarms and unlock the doors.
One thing to note is that the OEM remotes don't work with the engine running. When the remote starter is on, only the Viper will unlock the doors. [/Qoute]
