The DBALL2 used to have a GM6 firmware that covered a 2008 GMC Sierra. It is no longer available - it looks like it was replaced with GM11 firmware. Can anyone confirm this? Also, the GM11 manuals don't show how to connect the T-Harness; is it safe to use the GM6 manual? Are all the pins the same?

I just heard word from Directed: yes, the GM11 replaced the GM6, and no, you can't use the T-harness with GM11.
