hello,
quick question :)
I want to install remote starter Audiovox APS57C with DBI and I get iDatalink ADS-ALCA module. Usually I do W2W, but now I want to use DBI connection because there are too many wires and I'm lazy, but when I checked the wiring for ads-alca in the field "legend"
says:
N/A NOT REQUIRED FOR DATA MODE (1 WAY)
--- NOT REQUIRED FOR DATA MODE (2 WAY)
I don't see any connections marked wit N/A.
As long as I know DBI is 1 way ( maybe I'm wrong), should I connect all wires?
If so what are the benefits of using the DBI if you still need to makes all W2W connections?
Thank you!

DBI should do 2-way. Always has in the past. worse case is you have to connect tach and brake wire from module to remote start.
Make sure you set tach to learn via data on your remote starts

I will be very happy if that's the case.
Thank you for the quick respond.
