quick question a friend wnats me to setup his rear defroster for him so that he can activate it by a button on his remote. He doesnt like the idea of it only running 55 degrees and below for 10 minutes using the defroster wire thats actually on the car. its a entry level remote start (4105v) and doesnt have any auxiliary channels other than trunk release. So im assuming this 611t would work in my situation. I just wanna make sure i will have it set up right.
Black - GND
red - +12V
Green - RED / white trunk output
Brown - [if + is needed connect to +12v]
[If - is needed connect to defroster - wire]
Yellow -[if +12v is needed connect to defroster +]
[IF - is needed connect to GND]
The car is a 98 nissan pathfinder, i am unsure of which type of polarity will be used for the defroster since i dont have it in my possession yet.
