Now Ive got another issue, the remote start will shut off after slighlty more than 2 minutes. My flashes from my led diagnostics go 11-11-11-5-11-5-11-11. Not really sure how to interprit that. This dod not happen prior to hooking up the RED / black

I think i understand the flashes as a history of why the remote start shut down, so my current shutdown status would be 11. 11 Being Wait-to-start input timed out, idk why I would be getting that error??

First, I would double check all the connectors to ensure they were completely seated.
Next, I would make sure my Viper to Chassis Ground connection was perfect. Use a soldered-on terminal ring and fasten to a solid, paint and rust free metal frame area.
Does your 2008 Blazer have "one touch starting"? That is where you can quickly turn the key to START and release it back to RUN
and the ECM will control the starter crank time and start the engine.
If yes, are you running the Viper in Tach or Virtual Tach Mode? If yes, try switching over to Engine Checking = Fixed and go with
a one second crank time. See if that helps.
Soldering is fun!
