Im in need of a alarm wiring diagram for a 1998 peterbilt 379. I will be installing a avital 5303 with a smart-start gps. im not worried about the remote start feature, as this truck could do alot of damage. im interested in the alarm feature along with starter kill and gps.
the truck is huge so it will be easier to get a feel where everything is located.
Thank you for your time.

I've worked on a couple of these . Around same years . Accessing ignition switch is ideal because 12 volt constant, acc, ignition and starter are all there . Usually paccar labels those wires and uses ring terminals for connection, but they are fairly easy to test with Multi meter . Parking lights are always accessible at switch and door pins are usually easily accessible and i believe they are positive trigger . I should also mention I drive them daily and the ones Installed in coworkers worked great too . Just remember to test as many of the wires will be the same colors
