I just got through hooking up a Viper 5706V Alarm/RS combo on my '08 Dodge Ram 1500 and noticed something odd about the parking lights. When I arm/disarm the vehicle my parking lights flash but when I set the alarm off, the parking lights don't flash.
The only two wires I haven't connected are the PARKING LIGHT ISOLATION and PARKING LIGHTS OUTPUT. I have no idea what the hell the PARKING LIGHT ISOLATION is and the installation definition is still vague, but from my research I don't think I need it, but if someone could explain it Barney style that would be great! Now I assume the PARKING LIGHTS OUTPUT is the problem here.
I plan to connect it when I get off of work. If I'm not mistaken, I have to hook the WHITE wire to the (+) parking lights and change the polarity on the brain to (+) also? Just weird how it's not already wired in if they flash when arming/disarming.

Are you using a bypass module? I'll bet yes. If so, the bypass is sending factory keyless commands through data and that's whats flashing the lights on lock and unlock. What do you have the white wire connected to?

beegie,
I didn't have time to connect the WHITE wire but planned on hooking it up to the (+) side of the parking lights. Yes, I do have a bypass module, DBALL2, and figured it was causing the flashing and honking, etc.
