Thats what I was thinking. Another question the 6 pin plug off the viper has a red tape like tab seal and according to the wiring on dball2 I am to use the red and black from that 6 pin for power and ground.

Yes, the Viper 6 Pin plug is used as follows ( assuming W2W mode ) :
Main Harness, 6-pin connector
1 RED (+)12VDC CONSTANT INPUT   WHITE (+) @ Dash Fuse Box - Also connect DB-ALL2 Red @ Blue plug Pin 13
2 BLACK (-) CHASSIS GROUND      Chassis Ground - Also connect DB-ALL2 Black @ Blue Plug Pin 14
3 BROWN (+) SIREN OUTPUT        to Siren
4 WHITE/BROWN PARKING LIGHT PIN 87a            not used
5 WHITE PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT    BROWN (-) @ VEHICLE LIGHT SWITCH ** Set Viper jumper fuse to (-)
6 ORANGE (-) 500mA GROUND WHEN ARMED           not used
Soldering is fun!

With D2D, the DB-ALL2 gets its' input power and ground via the D2D harness. The Red and Black wires at the Blue 14 Pin Plug are dashed lines and therefore are not needed.
W2W = all necessary inter module connections must be hardwired ( dashed lines on install diagram ).
D2D = all dashed lines shown on the install diagram are made via the D2D harness ( not hardwired ).
Soldering is fun!

I have figured out the remote problem for starting the car. It was in manual mode and now I have switched it to automatic mode. I think if I can get the dball2 to working that will take care of the rest of my problems.

So here I am trying to clear my mind this morning and I still have some issues. I cannot get the dball2 to work it just stays solid red. The other issue is the remote start does start and shut off car but does not shut down when applying brake without key in. Also when I put key in then shut key off the vibe still stays running. I think this might be a key sense thing but which wire from 5706 to wire on vibe.
