how much power do you need to make these HSK 165XL's to work like they should? i have 100w going to them now, and i am not impressed. i see alot of guys sending much more than the rated RMS power to hertz speakers, but i am skeptical about doing so. any advice is appreciated.

My advice is to follow the manufacturer's recommendations if you want them to last a while. And use a high-pass filter to protect the woofers from bottoming out.
