Hello All at 12Volt. I have a 2006 Toyota Camry LE and am trying to get my aftermarket front parking sensors to work correctly. These front parking sensors are required to be connected to CAN H and CAN L (to monitor vehicle speed). Every resource I've checked says that the CAN H and CAN L wires are on the OBDII connector (pins 6 and 14) but unfortunately, those pins are empty on my OBDII connector. According to other resources, CAN H and CAN L operate at 3.75V and 1.25V respectively, while resting at 2.5V. I attempted to create those voltages with a DC transformer with no success; it's very possible my transformer was not accurate enough. I've also attempted to operate the parking sensors without the connections to CAN H and CAN L suggested by the company's tech support; that did not work either. Finally, I have verified that my vehicle is really a 2006 based on the VIN. Does anyone have any ideas to get my parking sensors working correctly besides buying a new car? I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks for your time.

I do not believe that the 2006 Camry has the information on the CAN network that you are looking for. I would imagine that you are going to have to find the actual VSS wire in order for this to work properly. If you post the information of what product you are trying to install we could possibly help you figure this out.

Thank you rs specialist for your response. I have verifed the location of the VSS wire. The front parking sensors are Rostra 250-1920-FZ. Attached is the wiring diagram from the installation manual. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks again! 2006 Toyota Camry CAN wires -- posted image.
