Where do i look for the Passlock II wires on a 2000 Chevy Silverado? I heard that the DEI 555l is reliable for passlock systems.

thanks,

salvador

Be nice!

they are at the ignition harness they are small black orangeand black and yellow, the 555l has done a good job for us over the years but recently i used peripheral plgmd it is quicker than the 555l and you dont have to cut any wires just find constant ground your trigger wire and the purple data wire at the data plug under drivers side dash.

Yup, in the ignition harness..usually wrapped up seperately. the 555L is a good module..I use it...but someone is always coming out with something better.
