Hello all! I just completed remote start on a family member 03 Suburban however I ran into an issue and I have a question.
Issue: When starting the vehicle using remote start, the brake warning light comes on and a "service 4x4" message pops up on the dash information system. The vehicle drives fine without any issues.
The RS is an Automate AM7. The bypass module is a GMDLP.
I also would like to completely disable the factory alarm since I am using the AM7 system, but I can't find any information on how to do it.
Thanks!

Did you power the Surburbans' White Ignition2 wire as Ignition2?

And the two ACC wires, Brown and Orange?
Got to be something going on due to a difference between a R/S and a Key start.

Two ACC wires? I only read about the main IGN and the secondary for the trans.

Well, if you don't have those issues with a regular key start, I would think it
prudent to try and duplicate that ignition wire sequence with a remote start.
Soldering is fun!

And in a few weeks you can say goodbye to your transmission and lots of $ unless you connect.
