I have a 2003 INFINITI M45, rare car. It has a built in car stereo unit and navigation so there's not alot of options to modify.
It's a Bose system, that has Fm/Am, Tape, Cd changer, and Sat if installed.
I want to know how to remove the tape deck without it messing up the stereo. I tried disconnecting just the tape deck and then none of the functions for any audio, Radio or cd. It wouldn't even turn on from the buttons on the built in audio unit.
If anyone's got the experience with this vehicle or knowledge of it please help me.
If like to remove the bose tape deck and still have the stereo work and other functions, if there's a way to wire/connect the wires after removing the tape deck that plug in to the back of it to power the stock head unit and possibly connect a DVD unit in it's place please let me know.
Or if I could get a complete detailed wiring diagram that has all components connected to the stock stereo unit
(Bose tape deck, Clarion CD 6 disc changer in glove box) these 2 would be extremely helpful
THANK YOU
i am an idiot

The tape deck is the main part of the radio.
