Hi Guys,
I'm kind of stump...recently completed a US spec to OEM JDM HID Headlight conversion that I bought from Japan. The high and low beams work fine when I flip the stalk to their respective position but when I initially start the car or flip the headlight switch to the first position, the headlights start blinking and the blue high beam CEL light comes on in the dashboard. Check out the video and pics and let me know your opinion if this is a grounding issue which I suspect. I grounded both the relay harness ground wire onto the spot near the radiator. The car is 2007 Yaris Hatch base model with power windows and doors. Thanks

In the video, you show that the lights are flickering when the switch is in the off position. I suspect this is caused by the reduced voltage of the daytime running lights. What is the voltage measured across your relay coils when this happens?
If you want to retain the daytime running lights feature, use a transistor to drive the relays.
If you want to disable your daytime running lights, see this post: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=894
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Spot on...After I took out the DRL relay box and disabled it, no more light flickering!
Thank you so much!
