Hi all!
I'm a long time fan of the12volt.com and mobile electronics. As much time as I have spent around the tremendous talent of the industry, about 30 years, I am just now about to attempt my very first install!
My vehicle is a 2006 Mazda 3 and I would like to post my install's progress, step by step in this thread with detailed, step-by-step photos as I attempt 100% of all installations myself.
I will be installing over a prolonged period of time (Months, possibly Years) by adding one toy after the next, as I can afford them!
The first addition to my Mazda will be a wicked head unit - Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX.
Okay, so first of all, what tools do I need to do a complete installation of just my Pioneer Head Unit?
Keep in mind: This is Phase 1 - Just the Head Unit!
Furthermore, what would you recommend that I install in addition to my wicked head unit? Please keep in mind that I am trying to keep a clean and simple feel for the interior, as close to stock as possible!
Best,
SRMJR

In addition, my vehicle has just a regular key, with a stock alarm system, stock cruise control, and steering wheel radio buttons!
Best,

Click instructions under the picture of the kit. It will tell you how to remove and install your new radio.
