Hi everyone, thanks so much for your replies, got a lot of the wiring taken care of. everything works now except in order to get it to start i have to press the clutch down, which makes me believe i need to bypass the clutch, not sure if i can do this with a ground when running wire not he viper/dball or if i need a relay. Any input is as always appreciated!

Set your parking brake and make sure the Jeep is in neutral.
Pull the starter relay. Find terminals 85 and 86. Verify with your meter one of them has constant power and the other does not. Take a length of small gauge wire. Strip it back and wrap it around the other terminal (if 85 has power, wrap your wire around 86). Now, put your relay back in place making sure the other end of the wire does not touch metal or ground. Turn your key to the ignition position without starting the engine. Go back and touch the other end of that wire to ground.
Did the engine start?
If yes, you can run the negative starter wire under the hood to the starter relay.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help, hit the button and started right up. My first manual and it was an experience but fun none the less. Again, thanks for everything
