So to begin, first time doing this;
Checked all the wires; plugged in the unit and the red light was on; nothing happend from the remote'
I started the can manually and now the red light on the unit will not turn on when it is plugged in.
So couple questions?
Is it supposed to be on?
(when i plug it in you can hear it click 3 times)
When I press the button on the controller should the unit respond?
(can it be in safe mode or valet mode? How would you rest it?
I did not hook up the parking lights yet
All connections made.
12 volt (+) has 2 wires one is white and the other is White with red
Starter is red
ignition 1 is black and yellow
ignition 2 is 1 of the 2 black with red wires
accessories blue with red
i also connected the 4 pin plug with red to (+) and orange to (-)
the thing that goes around the tumbler also put in spare key in the unit.
Brake switch i pulled right from the brake pedal (verified when i press the brake i get 12 volts)
I hope i covered everything, so what have i missed?

Bulldog has tech support and can better answer any of those questions. Why wait on connecting the parking light. It indicates what the unit is doing during normal operation and troubleshooting, so connect it.
The 3 clicks upon plugin would appear normal from my quick perusing of the manual. 2000 Camry With Bulldog RS82B -- posted image.
RS82B install manual
Did you wire up the tach and go through the learn procedure?
Also the hood pin needs to be hooked up and be grounded to remote start. If you didn’t hook it up yet try temporarily connecting it to ground before attempting to remote start it.

That answer is in the manual as well.
