Hi Guys,

I am a newbie, so, first off, Hi.., I hope to get to know a lot of you in the future.

I realise that I am probably more than pushing my luck (as a newbie)...., but..., I have just purchased a Hornet 530T for my Rover MGF.

I have looked at some previous posts and realised that there is a big skill set out there..., so, if someone is willing, I was hoping that they might be able to tell/show me how to wire up the 530T when it arrives?

I have a copy of the wiring diagram for the window lift on my MGF: -

Does the MGF close the windows automaticallly when holding the door lock over in the lock position?? I dont think rovers do this.

IF not, you will need to add a window closing module to the orange wire of the alarm or one of the output channels.

The info below should assist:- I have not used it so - dont blame me if it's not spot on...

Currently when alarmed / locked, then windows do nothing. What I would like to acheive is to get the windows to power up when the alarm is clicked on.

Thanks for the input on the wiring.., I will have to check the colours at the w/e..

The trouble is, I don't really even know where to start. It may be better for me to approach this when the item has arrived, but I thought there may be someone with 530 knowledge that could scribble the wiring needed on the diagram at the link above..
