I put push button start in my 2004 vw Jetta. Everything works except the brain doesnt receive a unlock signal. Unlock and lock are both connected at the door latch in the drivers door and ran out to under the dash. I can activate each one by grounding the respective wire. Lock works just plugged in but unlock I have to ground the car side and touch the PBS side to 12v at the same time to get unlock to work. I can also press unlock and quickly tap the two wires together and the PBS sill turn on. So I guess what I'm asking is how can I turn a long pulse into a short pulse?

Push button start is an easyguard es002. Es not ec. Wish I had the money for an ec.
Also when I connect the unlock from door to unlock of PBS it turns off the PBS just like the lock does. But if I disconnect t the unlock and hit unlock on my remote and quickly tap the two unlocks together it turns the PBS on.
