2014 Buick Encore Factory Radio, Amp, and Speaker Wire

I am looking to find a the wiring diagram for my factory radio and amp. I thought I had the right speaker wires but when connected to a mono block a amp there is no output, but when I hook up a 2 channel amp to the same wires it produces output. I am trying to add in an amp to power a sub while still using a factory radio. I have had no luck looking online to find what I am looking for...I cant even find anyone else that has added a sub to this vehicle. Thanks

What if you connect only 1 rca to the mono amp, does it have sound? If it has sound with only 1 rca and you used a line out converter, you have 1 channel of the converter wired out of phase. Thanks. Not using RCAs...speaker level inputs directly from the factory amp that is located behind the passenger seat in the rear. This system comes equipped with the noise canceling system and has the Bose speaker in the spare tire. The dealer told me that in my system it acts only as noise cancelling...had we had the Bose complete system it would also provide some bass to the vehicle. I am wondering if the radio is stripping low end frequencies before it sends the signal to the amp. I have replaced the front components with a set of Alpines I had in my G6 that sounded great but once installed into this encore I might as well put in soup cans...very tinny sounding but when one is taken out and hooked up to my bench radio it sounds great.

You have to get input from the subwoofer wires. You still may have wired the inputs out of phase.

I will give that a try tomorrow to see if there is any change. Will provide status update once I am able to test.

Did you ever get this to work? I’m about to wire up a monoblock amp up in my ‘14 encore and trying to figure out how to do it as simple as possible. I have a LOC but would rather not rip out the dash if I don’t have to. I’ve found the factory amp and I’m trying to figure out if I can connect the LOC to the sub wire on that or if I have to hook it to the left and right speaker wires behind the head unit

Honestly never gotten around to giving it a try. I spoke with my friend that works at the GMC dealership and he said his tech said that should work. With that speaker mounted in the tire well I really do not hear any words coming out of it even with the full range going through it. I just wish there was some kind of bypass wiring kit for this vehicle since all of the speakers go trough the amp.

Well finally got around to connecting those wires to the "Sub" output but no luck....when connected to those wires there is no output from the amp. Just to verify its a two channel amp that I was hoping to bridge to one channel as there is not much space in the trunk for more than one sub. I reached out to a company that does custom bypass wiring harnesses and they stated with the options included in my car (provided screenshot of the sticker in the glovebox) there was no sub output.
