I tried hooking up the siren using the " convert neg. signal to positive" relay diagram below and nothing is happening when I push the remote buttons.
To test the siren, hooked the neg. of siren to neg. of the battery & pos. of siren to pos. on battery and the siren works. The siren is mounted in the engine bay and the ground hooked up to a bare metal surface and works if I touch the pos. wire to a pos. feed.
To test the relay, hooked pos. to terminal 86 and neg. to terminal 85 on the relay and I hear it clicking closed. Tried the reverse and relay worked. I also checked continuity between relay terminals 30 and 87 when hooked up to a battery and there's continuity.
Not sure what else to try at this point. Everything else on the alarm works fine.

Looking at the owner manual online, it looks like just pressing the arm/disarm buttons won't give you confirmation chips. You can either hold said button for one second, press it twice, or press and release aux, followed by arm or disarm.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Ah ok...I see that now in the owner's manual. I was only looking at the install manual which didn't give that detail. D'oh!! Thanks for the help!!
