I just finished installing my first remote start/security system in my 2004 Honda CRV. I was familiar with Compustar so I bought the CS7900AS, and purchased the blade bypass as well. As I was searching for wiring for the CM900AS module I ran across more models than I can remember and no matter where I looked I couldn’t really find a collective comparison between them. I know I bought what is essentially a bundled system, complete with remote, alarm, etc. but you can also just buy the standalone ‘START-IT’ which has the CM72000. I should get to the point of this post, what, if any, are the differences? The system I purchased works for my needs, but I am wondering if anyone knows what the various models offer.
