I've installed push button start into my car, I'm trying to figure out how to push the button once and release and it will crank until it starts. Can someone help me with this?

I am hoping to avoid installing remote start as this car is completely economy and running while not driving is not really economical. I have a plugin warmer to keep my coolant flowing and warm so that the car is warm.
I thought it would be a nice touch to just quick push it and it start..... but if I have to put remote start in to add the ability, I will pass.

you don't have to use the remote portion of the system just the activation input to start the car. once the car is running you would just do a take over to drive it away.

+1 with the R/S unit using the Activation Input. You really need the R/S controller
with its' Tach monitoring and Starter Output control to get the engine running with
just one push of a button. We are assuming that your cars present starter circuit
does not have this "one touch feature". Other than that, you could find a circuit
with a fixed time output that you program. Of course a fixed time starter signal
will sometimes over crank and sometimes under crank. That's why we are recommending
a R/S unit to handle this function.
Soldering is fun!
