Hello! I have a pioneer mvh-s512bs head unit and I could really use a rear aux in for a tablet install in my truck. The unit has a front aux in but I would like to avoid a cable sticking out of the front of the radio. The unit has a port for a Sirius XM tuner on the back, I was wondering if anyone has had any success chopping the tuner cable and converting the Sirius input to a regular aux in. Thanks in advance guys! And if anybody has any other ideas for a rear aux in I would be glad for the advice!

no, if it had the old ip bus cable no problem but that input is exclusively for sat radio. Alot of manufacturers are taking off the aux cable input, especially pioneer since phone are starting to do away with a head phone jack more and more
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
