Hi Forum,
I am installing a Viper 5806v + DEI 516L unit- each unit came with a loudspeaker/siren - can these be spliced to use a single loudspeaker/siren or must they remain separate?

The Viper 5806V has a siren, which puts out tones when 12V is applied to the input. The DEI 516L has a speaker which is used to broadcast audio messages from the 516L. Both devices may look similar, but they are electrically different and must remain separate.
Cheers

The one with the brown wires is the 516L.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
