Finally got my 516L and looking to hook it up to my Viper with Remote start, but not sure about a few wires and purpose of some inputs, hoping somebody can shed some light:
516L
H1 & 2 - Grey Speaker wire (guess it doesn't matter which way these are hooked up?)
H1/3 - Blue - Straight forward trunk/hood input - the Viper has both doors trunk , hood on separate pins. So if i combine these two wires then it will have the same effect on the viper alarm which is (not desirable) or am I wrong here?
H1/4 - all ok
H1/5 - Alarm Siren monitoring - looking to hook this up (does it matter if I use silent mode or not, will this cause a problem?)
H1/6 & 7 & 8 - I am not sure how these work. Are they a trigger input which plays custom messages ? (guessing here)
H1/9 - Orange (GWA) he Viper has a GWA, so is this hooks up to that to detect armed status
H1/10, 11 & 12 ok
Remote start
H2/1 -Or/Bk, accessory power output from Viper remote start harness (manual says connect to (-) but viper remote start (8)orange indicates positive?) or is it referring to the 24pin harness acc (-)?
H2/2 -Bu/Bk, Status/ second ignition - not sure what to do with this
