i've got a question about the ignition on the 99 civic hatch. i need to tie in to the ignition for remote start operation with my alarm. it is a 3 wire ignition switch, i need to attach to ign+ and starter, and optionally accessory (for ac/heater, etc..)

the 3 wires are colored: yellow, yellow w/ black stripe and (i think) BLACK/ grey. when i turn the ign to on, all 3 wires short. i'm just unclear which one is ign+. i didn't want to just "try" different combos first. :)

secondly, where would the starter engage at? it doesnt seem to be in the ignition harness.

Have you checked out the vehicle info to the left? Click on it, it will help you find your wiring colors.
