Has anyone done one of these ?   It looks pretty straight forward except for the Parking lights. I'm not sure I like the idea disassembling the switch to make the lights work.   Anyone tried the hazards ?
Thanks Joe

park lights are super easy.. push in the pin, and the whole stalk comes out.. once you do one, it's a walk in the park.

Not sure if you access to DEI anymore, but they had a pretty good write-up on the modification. It is pretty easy, once you've done a few. Here is a photo of the DBALL2 instructions for a Mazda 3.

make sure you disconnect the battery's negative before doing RS, the keyless system in these are very easily shorted out. Probably one of the easiest cars out there if you are doing a t harness. Literately less than 15 minute install 2019 Mazda CX-5, Remote Start, Parking Lights -- posted image.

t harness not necessary.. all the wires are in the two plugs at the start / stop module below the steering wheel. But Yes, disconnect the battery, and the Compustar / idata install is a little easier since you don't need to add extra relays VS Ds4, if you want take over.

id just do a dc3 and a t harness, done and done. You don't have to do a t harness but i like to make things simple after 20 years of doing RS's..lol
