Would I get by just fine using the pac 35 line out I nstead of the LC2i? I’ve always had luck with pac 35 but seen lots use the LC2i

yes and no. The lc2 has a bunch of benefits like the acubass and the input matching from the factory head unit and so on. Your not really comparing apples to apples with the two different locs. I always recommend the lc2 in newer cars especially luxury cars or ones that have factory amps (bose,infinity,jbl,dimesons,ect). If you have a old 90's car or a plain jane Hyundai or Honda and adding a sub amp, them yes the pac 35 will do just fine.
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
