Installed this headunit lastnight and Can not access all the futures    wiring seems to be correct but no Bluetooth or Apple carplay anyone else have this problem? Appreciate any help thanks

This sounds like a dumb question and im not saying anything bad about you but you have a iphone (with atleast 7.1 firmware) plugged into the usb for the apple car play right? The grayed out boxes usually means that the ebrake is not on, simpy grounding the ebrake wire only works once and it has to see a ground each time the stereo is turned on which is there so your not changing setting while your driving. Alpine blocks out alot more than other manufactures. Few years ago you'd have ebrake and a foot brake input and you had to do a combination of those to get by it.
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

Alpine went away with the footbrake wire. But your problem is the parking brake wire needs to not show ground and then show ground. This will allow access to the advanced features. If you connected it to the parking brake, simply engage the parking brake.

I might have a short in my factor parking brake wire can I just wire a switch to the parking brake wire to a ground?
