2010 mazda5 oem remote start not working new install.
the dealer sold me a 000-8f-L82 remote start unit
does any one have the full pin out for the whole bcm on this suv?
does the door sense need to be connected?
it is all installed but I get 3 horn beeps and a pause when I try to remote start.
so far no joy at the mazda dealership.
it acts like the antitheft is not by passing as i have a fast anti theft flash when i try to remote start.

how did you program the bypass? do you have two valid keys? try inserting a key into the barrel and see if it remote starts

yup on the two keys,
and i removed the tumbler and went direct to the ring pickup
to force an auto start.
so it looks like a bad immobilizer.
that brings up a good question
what does it take to forget its program on the immobilizer?

TACH     BLACK/STRIPE (AC)     ANY FUEL INJECTOR, WHITE 2 PIN PLUG, PIN 1
ok well no help again from the dealer.
tach is on the fuel injector
green with blue is common b+voltage for all injectors
switched injector is
cyl # 1 black/ white
cyl # 2 black / yellow
cyl # 3 black / blue
cyl # 4 black / orange
cyl # 4 is closest to the harness and battery box.
this is what I used now for the tach trig.
the instructions for the remote start programming are different for the model years!
as well as the immobilizer modules.

well that did not go as planned!!
looks like I may not to have had the master keys from the factory!!
so old school solution, divorce the ring from the key cyl and remote mount it...
and had extra keys cut.
the darn oem computer had locked up on too many keys!!
so old school was the best low cost route to go..
mazda wanted $300.00 to clear the keys!! no kidding!!
$250.00 at the lock smith...
at least it is auto starting ok now!
