Hi all so I've recently purchased a compustar 4905 for 2007 ford crown Victoria police interceptor. I've installed the wiring harness for my car, and flashed the module. When I try to program the module in the car, led 1 flashes red unstop, any idea what I can do? Compustar help line was no help.

Check your rx/tx connections and make sure they're good. Are you using the blade-al and two keys to program or one key and klon?

I could be wrong, but I don't think a Crown Vic Police Interceptor has a chipped key or transponder based engine immobilizer system.
Soldering is fun!

Hi so it does not have a pats system since it was a prior police car. So any way I could program it so it's not included, and I'm currently using a compustar cdm-dc3

Hi and you are correct like most police cars no pats system. Is there anyway I could program so it wouldn't be looking for a rx/tx connectors

On those CVPI's I don't use a bypass module, just a basic R/S system. All the vehicle connections are direct hardwired connections. There is no CAN Bus or Data Bus to simplify the install. I'm not a DC-3 user but if you can reflash the DC-3 with basic firmware for an older vehicle that does not have an engine immobilizer system or CAN bus. Try something like a Ford F series from 1994 if available to select on the list of supported vehicles. The DC-3 install guide for that should show up as a generic guide. You can still follow the wiring guide from the 2007 CV with the exception of the 2 transponder wires.

Yup when flashing, you can either pick "other" or 2000 Acura integra for a straight analog install.
