Hey guys,
I need help on my remote starter installation. I connected all the wire and I made it to start using the remote. The problem is whenever I start it with the remote it will start but when I insert the key and step on the brake it will activate/engage the car starter again.
I troubleshoot it and found out that the acc output from the remote starter brain causes the car starter to engage. So I disconnect it and try it without connecting the acc wire. And it work.
The problem now is how can I use the heater blower if I don't connect the acc output from the brain.
Thank you

I'm assuming it's a push start, but what is the vehicle? Someone may have come across this.

Sorry for not including the vehicle. It's not a push start. It's a 2004 honda civic with automatic tranny. I don't know what I did wrong. Everything works. Starter kill, brake switch. Lock, unlock, park lights.
Right now the ACC wire from remote brain is not connected to anything.
Thanks

That's odd. If there's another wire you can program as accessory, try that.

What I'm planning is putting diode on the on the ACC wire from starter but I need to do a research about that. Another way is to use the 5th relay option on my remote starter brain. Which is the best option?

I will use the 5th relay on my remote start primary harness. Is the 5th relay already powered? (I know it's a stupid question because I can just checked it with tester) but I'm asking it anyway. Do I need to use another relay for that? Or the 5th relay is plug and play like the other wire?
Thanks

I wouldn't know without a manual.

I solved it. I used the 5th relay instead of the RS ACC wire. The manual says that 5th relay is also powered with high voltage. I test it with Multi tester and boom it has 14 volts. I hooked it up and it works like a charm.
Thank you so much.
Cheers!
