Priority Install is looking for Experienced Vehicle Up-fitting Technicians to join our team. Job Responsibilities: • Install emergency equipment into law enforcement vehicles ie. L.E.D emergency lighting, mobile radios, consoles. prisoner cages, weapon racks & K9 protection systems • Install electrical wiring, connect electrical fittings, drill holes, soldering and perform all physical tasks associated with modifying vehicles for installation of emergency-related equipment • Troubleshoot and diagnose 12v electrical problems with equipment as necessary • Dis-assemble and reassembly of a diverse range of vehicle makes and models, including trucks, sedans, SUVs, motorcycles and military vehicles • Maintain safe, clean and orderly tools and work area • Continuously learning new products, software and installation techniques from colleagues and manufacturers Qualifications & Skills • Skills: Must possess the drive and aptitude to work safely with tools and understand auto wiring. Self-motivated. Work well under pressure in fast-paced environment. Be able to follow directions; evaluate problems and prioritize tasks.
