xkloader and bitwriter are 2 different things. xkloader flash the bypass modules like the dballs and the new ds3 and 4s from the dei web site. Bitwriters changes the settings like run time light flash door lock outputs on the older viper, avital, crimestopper, ect brains but does nothing for bypass modules. Bitwriters will not work on newer ds3 & 4+ remote starts, have to use xkloader

The XKLoader3 has a bitwriter mode. He didn't mention what he was doing, so I just tried to offer an alternative.
The links posted are bitwriters, though.

What I need it for was got a another car and going to put in a remote start. I have several older python brand new that are about 10+ years old. Back when I used to install, Ive been out of game for about 17 years, went to to HVAC world. My bit writter been in storage and the battery acid killed it. Yes I dont need it to program, but it easier and a toy to play with, its been over more then a decade. That why I was looking for one. I found one on ebay :)
