Hi everyone, I'm trying to get my Viper 7752V remote to stop making error noises. It's paired with a XL202 Range Extender connected to a 6711T SST antenna in the car. The lock / unlock / start / Aux buttons all work and the car responds accordingly to each button push, but the remote makes an error tone after each button push, like it's expecting feedback from the car that each button-push signal was received. On the one hand, I don't care much because everything functions but on the other hand, it would be nice to make that error tone go away. Anyone have any ideas?
The 6711T antenna is connected to the XL202 just like what's in this hugely-helpful post ( https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=137563 ), the other side of the XL202 is connected to an Omegalink OL-RS-FO1 remote start/RKE controller ( https://www.omegaweblink.com/product/product/product_id/154 ), and the car is a 2011 Flex.
I realize I may be working with antiquated technology here, but I'm hoping someone else out there has run into the same thing and knows a fix for it, or knows if there's no fix for it which is acceptable too.

Update: I fixed it. If you have an Omegalink remote start/keyless entry controller box that the Directed XL202 box connects to, then you have to update the firmware in the Omegalink box as well. This requires buying the "OLLOADER" from Omegalink. I got one for under $40 including shipping on eBay. Anyway, installing the correct firmware in the Omegalink box made it communicate correctly with the XL202 box, and now the Viper remote stops making error tones, and instead makes positive confirmation tones. Just wanted to let everyone know, in case you have the same problem as I did.
