If anyone is still looking....I found the answer oddly enough on another post on this site lol. So apparently if you don't have the 2-way LCD remote...just follow the 4-button one-way instructions. It worked perfectly for me first time. What is upsetting is I emailed compustar(who has to know by now their instructions are wrong) and they said they couldn't help and I needed to go to an authorized dealer. Hope this helps someone
