Help with 2 ohm Woofer...

It probably wouldn't damage the speaker but it could damage the amplifier.  Usually the amp will either overheat first and shut off automatically, or if it has overcurrent protection it will also shut off automatically.

As far as I know all Solo-Barics are DVC subs, which means they have two voice coils and therefore two separate sets of speaker inputs.  Does your sub look like t his?  Or does it just have one red terminal and one black terminal for the whole thing?

What I think you have is the 2-ohm voice coil DVC solo-baric, which will actually work out perfectly for your setup.  The two voice coils will be wired up in series, for a single 4-ohm speaker load.  Since your amp is 4-ohm stable when bridged, you'll hook the left positive speaker output to the single positive speaker wire from the sub.  Then the right negative speaker ouput goes to the single negative speaker wire from the sub.  Here's a diagram of what it should look like:
