I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline .It has a AstroStart Astroflex BBW Item 392-127-317 Rev.1 remote starter. I recently discovered that the wire for the antenna was cut when they replaced the windscreen months ago. I bought a new antenna, wire and remote. I tried to program the remotes but it's not working. I get the four flashes from the parklights but nothing happens when I press the lock or start button on the remote. Is there a way to find out if the brain is not working because I can hear the clicking when I start the programming. The LED on the module blinks when the brake pedal is pushed. The LED flashes when the engine is running. The switch is ON. New battery in the remote. I would really appreciate any help or info to get the remote starter to work since I don't have the money to install a new remote starter. I took pictures of the setup if need be.

Forgot to mention. It's a regular key start. And the remotes are 2205A and 4204A.

have you tried, flip dip switch 8 to on, and then press the brakes.. then press lock on each remote, then flip 8 to off, and then press the brakes.

Yes but unfortunately that also didn't work. I want to know if the brain got fried when the cut the wire of the antenna. I was hoping there was a way to test if the brain or module is damaged. Thanks

when you do the flip 8, brake and then press lock of the remotes, the led on the brain should flash.. if it doesn't I would suspect a shorted antenna port.

Hi ... I have the exact same unit with missing remote. Can you tell me how you were ever able to find a remote. Desperate. lylepederson@sasktel.net
