I'm a bit lost on this one, never done an install on a car this new and need some help.
The car is a 2006 Chrysler 300C that does not have a factory immobilizer or alarm system active so no bypass module will be needed.
The system to be installed is an Avital 5105L (Directed 5105 Viper is the same with different remotes).
I think I have identified the majority of wiring in the car but the actual ignition and starter wiring is very confusing to me (never delt with 2nd ignition or 2nd accessory system before). I'm including pictures of the wiring harness info with what I think I have figured out along with ??? on stuff I'm not sure about.
The following is what I'm trying to figure out.
*Main 5 pin harness pin #4 500mA ground when armed ?
*Remote start 10 pin harness ? totally confused by this, i see this unit has built in relays but also found Directed showing 2 relays with resistors are needed for this car but are these separate from the built in relays or not and I really need help here.
*AUX/TRIGGER/SHUTDOWN 24 pin harness
Pin #1 2ND IGNITION/ACCESSORY OUTPUT
Pin #2 REAR DEFOGGER I have found no info on this for this car
Pin #17 IGNITION 1 OUTPUT
Pin #21 STARTER OUTPUT
Pin #23 ACCESSORY OUTPUT
Any help with this is very appreciated and if you see any mistakes with what I think I havew figured out please let me know.
